Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,

          In-person worship continues to go well and remains a very safe place to be given the fact that most all are vaccinated and people are choosing to wear masks. We do realize, however, that cases are increasing and we’ll let you know if we need to make any changes in light of that.

          The attached prayer, which I will pray during our ZOOM worship time tonight, September 1, at 7:00 PM, is very much a personal prayer coming as it does out of who I am and what I think and feel day after day (hence all the “I’s” in the prayer). If it fits you, you can pretty much pray it as it is. If not, well, maybe it will speak to you in some way.

          May God grace us with faith and hope enough to keep trusting that, even in the midst of the hard realities we face, all will be well,
