Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,

          This Sunday, August 1, we resume receiving communion the way we did prior to the pandemic – kneeling or standing at the altar rail. We will continue to use wafers, however, but return to pouring wine into the cup you bring forward. Also, remember the cookout we will have after worship on Sunday, August 15. The hamburgers and hot dogs (beef and turkey both) will be grilled outside, but we’ll eat together inside in the Fellowship Hall.

          The attached prayer, which I will pray during our ZOOM worship time tonight, July 28, at 7:00 PM, really doesn’t need an introduction, it being rather obvious where the prayer came from and what it’s about. I hope it will speak to you in some way.

          May God bless us all with the bliss of knowing his peace in the midst of all things,
