Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,

          Tomorrow, April 6, is Maundy Thursday, the day on which we remember Jesus having a meal with his disciples, the Last Supper he had with the disciples before his arrest, and we will observe Maundy Thursday with a service of worship at noon. We will gather again the following day for a Good Friday service of worship at noon in remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus. And then on Sunday, April 9, at 10:00 AM we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with a glorious Easter morning service of worship. I hope you can be a part of these services of remembrance and celebration.

          The prayer I will pray tonight, April 5, during our ZOOM Worship Time at 7:00 PM, speaks to the world we live in, the world as it is but also the world it could be. I hope the prayer helps you understand our world and understand as well how our world can be transformed and gives you some words to pray yourself.

          May we hold fast to God’s mercy and grace and follow Christ through the darkness of Good Friday unto the glorious light of Easter morning,
