Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,

          As more and more members are fully vaccinated, our Sunday attendance continues to increase, with 47 attending this past Sunday. We hope the trend continues! In the meantime, however, we are live-streaming the service as well as doing videos. Between those in attendance and those watching, we are reaching many in the congregation and some visitors too, and for this we are very thankful.

          Concerning our Adult Sunday School Class, we are targeting the first part of June to resume meeting. We believe that by that point we should know if we are finally getting beyond the danger of a spike in coronavirus cases. Watch for further announcements.

          The attached prayer, which I will pray during our Conference Call tonight, April 21, at 7:00 PM is, I suppose, another “not-prayer-prayer”. At least, you may not think of them as prayers. All I can say is that I consider them prayers because when I sit down and wonder what to pray, I start talking to God and eventually some words come and I write them down and they become a prayer since that’s what praying is: talking to God. At any rate, tonight’s prayer may not, I admit, speak to those who are younger. Then again, since our culture considers anyone over 30 to be old, it might speak to more people than I think.

          May God continue to see us through these days unto a new day of hope for us and our land,
