Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,

          Holy Week is upon us and tomorrow, Maundy Thursday, we will have a Parking Lot Communion service at noon, followed by a Good Friday service also at noon, and then a glorious Easter morning service at 10:00 AM with coffee and doughnuts afterwards. We are still wearing masks and practicing social distancing so we hope more and more people will feel comfortable gathering for worship.

          And we also want to announce that starting on Easter Sunday we will live-stream the worship service! This will offer those not yet ready to attend a way to feel more a part of Sunday services. It will also be an excellent way to reach those who might be interested in the congregation, so please pass the word among your friends. You will receive an email later this week that will give you the information needed to access the live-streaming.

          The attached prayer, which I will pray during our Mid-Week Lent Service tonight, March 31, at 7:00 PM, originated just as I say it did – from seeing some scenes on the morning news. I hope it will help you with your prayers and also remind you that resurrection has as much to do with life before death as it does with life after death.

          One final note – we will not have ZOOM Conference Call next Wednesday; the calls will resume on April 14.

          May this Holy Week lead us to deeper faith and greater joy and the hope that does fail,
