Dear Members, Visitors, and Friends of the Congregation,

          I hope this email finds all of you well and virus free. The number of reported new cases and hospitalizations are increasing as the coronavirus rapidly spreads and we are evaluating the situation day by day. For now, we will continue with in-person worship services along with videos.

          And now, some reminders…

          • We will have Parking Lot Communion on Saturday, December 12, at 11:00 AM.

           • There will be a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, December 13, following the worship service.

            • Pledge cards for 2021 have been sent out and may be returned by mail or, if you will be present for worship on December 13, there will be the opportunity to place them on the altar during the service.

               • On Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24th at 5:00 PM we will have a Candlelight Communion Service of Rejoicing to celebrate the birth of the Holy Child of Bethlehem. A special Prelude will begin at 4:30 PM.

Please check your emails for additional information.

          The attached prayer which I will pray during our Conference Call tonight, December 9, at 7:00 PM. It is another “talking prayer” like I have done before and also a very personal prayer in that it reflects what I’ve been feeling. Because of that, it may not speak to you at all. I do hope, however, that it helps in some way. 2

          May God continue to give us the patience and strength and resolve we need to keep doing the safe and sensible thing as the virus threatens even more,
