Dear Member,

         As we have been announcing, this Sunday, June 14th, is the day we will resume our worship services! And let me tell you, I am more than ready! We are sending out an email and video outlining and demonstrating the protocols we will follow to assure a safe gathering. We will also videotape the service so that those who are not yet comfortable with coming out will be able to view it and be part of it in some sense. Be aware that when the service is over we will have a brief meeting while seated in the sanctuary to elect Church Council members.

        Also, please note that we will not be resuming Adult Sunday School on the 14th. We have also decided not to resume Wednesday Evening Communion on the 17th or Bible Study on the 18th as we had planned. One issue is that we would have to re-sanitize the church before Wednesday and then again, of course, before Sunday. In addition, we want to see how Sundays go before adding more to the schedule.

         Below is the prayer I will pray during our Conference Call tonight, June 10th, at 7:00 PM. Once again, it’s a bit lengthy so having a copy at hand will be helpful. As always, check Pastor Flanigan’s email for the telephone number and access code.

         May God, in the midst of the fear and uncertainty and chaos of these days, grace us with the courage to do the right thing when it comes to both the coronavirus and the call for change,
